After starting the main menu items of the MM3-TeachingMachine
are displayed.
The steps required for learning are described in the following.
Select Learn and click on Next.

Subject
Structure your studying contents in subjects.
The subjects already created are displayed, select a subject from it.
As an example of the screen shots a vocabulary trainer is used for Buisiness English. | |
Lesson
The lessons of this subject are listed.
Every lesson consists of cards. A board contains a question and the accompanying answer.
Please select at least one lesson which you would like to learn.

Card
Query direction
For many subjects an answer can be used also as a question. E.g. you can query for a vocabulary both in the mother tongue and in the foreign language.
If it is thematically possible to mix up the question and answer, then you can set the query direction here.
Note
To be able to use this option, you must define this as meta information in the text file for the lesson.
Sequence
If the cards shall be offered in a random sequence, please activate: Random.
Learn mode
Define the learn mode.
Learn mode | All cards of the lesson are displayed after each other: |
Remember | No inputs are necessary. You can completely concentrate on studying. |
Test | With a click you decide whether your answer is right or wrong. Your studying progress is saved in the MM3-TeachingMachine.
Every card is moved according to the answer in another box. | | |
Box
The boxes are displayed with the respective number of cards. Boxes which don't include any cards aren't displayed.
The following types of boxes are distinguished:
Typ | Box includes cards: |
Start | Which weren't questioned yet. |
Wrong | Which you must learn more intensively. |
Right | Which you already know the answer to a question. | At new lessons all cards are in the box Start.
Depending on your studying progress the cards are moved into the boxes of the type Wrong or Right. | |
Question
The questions&answers are shown to you subsequently.
Means:

1) The question mark ? symbolizes a question.

2) The card is in this box.
- Number of questions:

3) Which are already answered.
- (
4) Which still have to be answered.
- (
5) Which were answered correctly.
- (
6) Which were put back.
- (
7) Which were answered wrongly.
- (
8) Black or blue markings as a help to read long texts.
- (
9) The blue progress bar symbolizes the time for reading the question.

10) The green progress bar symbolizes the time for answering the questions.
You can use the following keys for the control:

Answer
The indication of an answer corresponds essentially to a question.
Differences insist:

1) The character A symbolizes the answer.
You can use the following keys for the control:
Key | Navigation |
Soft Key Right | A well-considered answer is correct. |
Soft Key Left | A well-considered answer is wrong. |
Key 2 | Question shall not be judged (put back). | | |
Statistics
After you have edited all boards, the number of correct and wrong or not judged (put back) answers is displayed.
With Repeat you can learn the cards just again.
